BEGINNINGS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Beginnings is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for any alumnus of Beginnings programs. We are offering two $500 scholarships for anyone committed to furthering their education in college, vocational school, or adult education. There is no limitation on age or level of education. Applicants must reflect on how their experience at Beginnings affected their educational experience.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS MAY 1, 2023
Eligibility and Qualifying Process:
- Two $500 scholarships will be awarded.
- Applicants must have attended Children’s House and/or Skyfish School. No age limitation.
- Applicants can receive scholarship funds to support attendance at a college, vocational school, adult education, apprenticeship, or other specialized training program.
- Applicants must submit written essay describing their experience at Beginnings and how it has impacted their life.
- Applicants must demonstrate success in setting and achieving goals. This can be academic success or success in excelling in their field of interest or trade.
- Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation describing their accomplishments and commitment to pursuing goals. Letter can be written by Principal, Teacher, Counselor or Mentor.
- Applicants must submit documentation of enrollment in a college, vocational school, adult education, apprenticeship, or other specialized training program and a description of how the funds will be spent.
- Applications, along with a current photo must be emailed by May 2, 2016 to Beginnings@asis.com.
